Melina Mangal, author, will be reading her very own Jayden's Impossible Garden at 9:00 AM. Her book is about Jayden and a new friend bringing nature into the city through a community garden.

Zora's Zucchini
Antonio Alba, Sharing Our Roots, will be our guest reader at 10:00 AM. He will be reading the book Zora's Zucchini by Katherine Pryor in Spanish. The story is about a garden that grows more zucchini then her family can use so a resourceful little girl started a garden swap.

Harlem Grown
Patrice Bailey, Assistant Commissioner, will be our guest reader at 10:00 AM. He will be reading the book Harlem Grown by Tony Hillery. This book is a true story about how an urban farm transformed a neighborhood.
