Teachers and community leaders are invited to join Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom for a tour of Pearson’s Candy Company, MN grocery store and Minnesota Farmer’s Union Farmer’s Kitchen + Bar this July. Learn about the behind-the-scenes process of making Minnesota favorites – Nut Goodies, Nut Rolls, and more! At the grocery store, particpants will discover the logistics to getting food to consumers and the challenges they have faced. At Farmer’s Kitchen + Bar, participants will share ideas of how to bring lessons about agriculture, environmental science, and local treats into their classroom while enjoying a delicious lunch. Chef Kris is excited to share his restaurant and stories with our guests, as well as tell about the history with Minnesota Farmers Union.

Bus transportation, lunch and snacks included.
